We are able to rebuild and modify the full range of vessels including recreational, competitive and commercial. Some of our previous rebuilds include; V19s, Caribbean Reef Runner and Formula 233.
COMPOSITE REPAIRS
There is no composite job too big or small for our team, whether it is a small repair you want to look invisible or a new vessel we are ready to help you out. Our experienced staff’s composite skills are second to none and our new Hamilton Hill facility is fully equipped for composite builds and repairs.

TIMBER AND TEAK WORKS
Teak decking is a long-lasting and stylish option built to withstand harsh ocean conditions. We use the best supplies available to create the perfect teak deck, whether your vessel is 100ft or 20ft we will create the perfect teak deck for your space.
TOOLING AND MOULDING
Our team are expert in composite tooling and mould creation.
We can create moulds of any size and shape to suit your specific needs. From individual small parts through to entire hulls, we will take care of the process from start to finish.
COMMERCIAL VESSEL WORKS
We understand there is a big difference between commercial and recreational needs. Our experienced team is ready to assist with all your commercial vessel repairs. Whether it is a full rebuild, fit-out, re-spray or minor repair works, we will take care of the job start to finish.
CARBON FIBRE COMPOSITES
We have a team of experts in carbon fibre composites. From hand lamination to prepreg composites we can do it all!
INSURANCE CLIAMS, QUOTES & REPAIRS
Ascent Shipwrights are a preferred provider with many insurance companies across WA including Club Marine.
We are able to help you with all your insurance claims, quotes and repairs. We understand that having your boat out of action can be frustrating, we endeavour to do everything we can you get you back on the water as soon as possible.
FABRICATION WORKS
We also offer professional fabrication services. This includes the construction of stanchions, balustrading, game fishing attachments, mounts and intricate machining.
All are available in aluminium and stainless steel.
Timber and teak works are some of our favourite jobs to complete whether it be a new cabinet for your boat or a full interior refurbishment our team are ready to transform your vessel.
INFUSION AND PREPREG
We have a wealth of knowledge in infusion and prepreg composites. Our workshop is fully equipt for both options and our talented team has had plenty of experience in both areas. Our recent projects have included an infused sink, hatches, mullions, seat and full console!
CORK & FOAM DECKING
Looking for a decking option other than teak? We can help! We are installers of teak alternatives including Marine Deck, Permateek and Flexiteek! We are also very experienced in cork decks and can provide you will a fantastic looking final product without all the maintenance of a teak deck.
DASH REFURBISHMENT
A dash refurbishment is a great way to freshen up your vessel! With many different options including acrylic, starboard and carbon fibre, we will find the right option for you and your vessel.
SURVEYS & INSPECTIONS
We provide a wide range of surveys in accordance with the Australian Marine Safety Authority and insurance companies. Our services include faults findings lists, pre-purchase inspections and insurance cover forms and claims.
